Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone is having a good Thanksgiving, those who celebrate it-- and a good Thursday for everyone else! :) I always enjoy visits with my extended family, today was no exception. The dog is still afraid of me, and I still get to sit at the best table, the Kid Table. We have no more kids, but we still have the fundamentally immature so the table will be around for a long time.

Dinner was delicious, and everyone liked the turkey butts I crocheted (and attached pinbacks too), as well as the decorated holiday notepads we made. The pumpkin pie is gone, four pies... Gone or accounted for. I don't know what we're going to do for tomorrow, at our Thanksgiving dinner, but c'est la vie.

Here at my new desk, in my new chair, with my new laptop, it's an end to a good evening. I'm hoping to get some pictures soon-- the room is wrecked from rootling through boxes for fabulous things.

Someday I will learn to write a better blog post, but right now I'm watching "Kinky Boots", and that too is fabulous.

Happy New Year?

I almost typed "yar" instead of "year," I think it would make for much more interesting browsing in the future, but since the content wouldn't be anymore interesting, I just fixed it.

I've got the blog, I might as well use it, aye? Especially after all the effort it took to personalize the colours of the layout to something I'd actually use. Personalization means you just have to use it, otherwise what's the point?

Looking forward to school-changing to an IT major, which will be interesting. Hopefully that doesn't make me run screaming the same way that chemistry did. Also looking forward to working for Ruta's new soap making company-Harmony Creek Farm. It will be different after Zoo To Go, but it will be a lot of fun, I think. I'll still get to visit the animals, that's the important part.

A side note on animals... When clicker training a rabbit it helps if you first figure out which side of the clicker makes the clicker noise, so that you can actually click when you need to and not 5 seconds after the fact.

Good evening! ♥
